cloudy water after starting bio pellets

Hi

I just started using npx bio pellets yesterday in my 180 gallon reef tank. I came home this afternoon and noticed that my water was cloudy and that the glass of the aquarium was covered in a film of fine white hair like substance . I looked at the reactor and notice it sloughing a hair like substance. My parameters are fine . I just added bio pellets as a preventative measure to keep nitrates and phosphates in check

Bacterial bloom, it will eventually clear on its own, or you could half the pellets in your reactor to allow the colonization of the pellets. Then in 4-5 weeks add the remainder when the pellets are properly colonized. Keep skimming wet until clear.

Do you have the reactor output plumbed into your skimmer's intake?
