Lighting poll for 75 reef

I'm lighting a 48x18x21 75gal system and want adequate par ranges for softies, LPS, and SPS. I'm torn between 4 Ai Prime HDs or two reef breeder photon V1s (going for a good deal on both lights). Interested in opinions!

110% go with the RB Photons. You'd have far better coverage and coloring if you were able to add a few T5's to those RB's.

Yeah I was gonna add a pair of actinics of blue plus bulbs to both setups? Have you used these lights?

I'd go with the AI prime's personally. With T5 supplements you'll have plenty of par and coverage (likely do fine without even, but with would be best). The AI Primes are a better built unit.

Yes a Actinic and Blue plus ran with the RB would make for a nice spread of light that will be able to grow SPS or whatever you like really.

No I haven't used those ones spcifically but a WiFi black Box yes and it was miles better for output and coverage compared to the Prime I had. Primes are a very weak light, anything over 12-14" or so you will fall down to 50 PAR or less. Only thing better about the Prime was control, but I maxed out all the blue and ran the reb, green and white at around 40% so was exactly the same as I ran the BB.

Why not just go with 2 Radion XR30 Pros if you want to play with the top tier led lights. Imo those are the best led fixtures made but you pay for them. AI is nice and top quality but spread is lacking on them. I think I will be either going with XR30 Pros or Black Box leds for my next tank build lol.
