Lighting Help Please (

New to this,

Been running my LED Lights @

whites and blue for 7am - 330pm 8.5 hrs
Blues from 430pm (5pm) - 11pm 5.5- 6hrs
off 11pm to 7am - 8hrs

any suggestions, my hammerhead coral seem to do alot better when the blues are on, they explode with color. On the other had during the day part of the coral hides; are whites to much? or should i run blues longer?

any feedback will help or suggestions?

We’ll need to know what brand and at what intensity (%) the channels are set to but generally speaking the corals get much more benefit from the blues than they do the whites.

thy only have set percentage, its either blue and white on or blue on or white on. im assuming they run at 100 %.

The lights are pretty strong but my corals defenitly are alot better under blue.

should i maybe keep blue on longer and white/blue shorter

blue 9hr
whiteblue 6
off 7

I'll scream for billdog...

HEY.....WHAT BRAND LIGHT?
Makes a BIG difference..

and I'll state this.. don't over think it.. a large portion of the adjustments in LED lighting is to make the user/people happy..

Your leds don't have dimmers? They haven't been making led fixtures for aquariums without dimmers for 5 or 6 years now, have they?

Maybe take some black electrical tape and cover some of the white leds. Or use some translucent tape and cover them all.
