Where would you recommend getiing the most/best info before buying a clam. ie:lighting/feeding/filtration?

There are 3 sticky's at the top of the Reef Central clam forum, read them and then buy one of the recommended books in my attn future clam keepers thread and read it. There are some really good sticky's over in the clams direct forums to read as well.

It's not all about colours though. Patterns are way cool too! And you could forgive a teardrop maxima for not having blue with a pattern like that.

Ok I have some new clams to show off myself
4" black and white maxima 4" black and lime green / gold teardrop maxima 4" blue maxima with mr bangaii 3.5" blue maxima mabe squamosa???? I still am not convinced it's a maxima 3.5" green squamosa The whole gang top down and front view Keep the clam pic's a coming people |

Well I am down to 17 I shipped my giga's and one of my squamosa's out today to quicksilverq
I am downsizing my tank so getting rid of a few larger clams. |
