I picked up one a week or two ago. Very nervous fish.
Read a bit about the subgenus Euxiphipops being fragile. Fishbase states the fishes diet to be of sponge and tunicate, with nothing else listed.
They are gorgeous nonetheless. Good luck with her.
the navarchus has been with me since Aug...

Wow... i dont know how i missed it!! Too many other beautiful fish distracting me. Lol.
Have you noticed any differences in care or character with the Majestic angel vs. other Pomacanthus angels?
Ive noticed a much more subdued personality than with most other angels I've had. They've always been bold for the most part. Not her though...

Thanks bud, stoked that you got one!
Back in Aug she came in quite small and with a few areas of lymph (ime, they are more prone to lymph than other large angels) over the next several weeks I had to remove her from the tank more than a dozen times to scrape the sites...lol, she really learned to hate me quickly ... I was afraid I was going to lose her a couple times due to the amount of lymph on her but fortunatley she never stopped eating...she is doing terrific and loves the company in her tank- she was alone for the first 4 months...imo, they are the prettiest of all pomacanthus babies...best of luck with her and toss up some pics!

Do you know which office tank?

Colini are one of my favorite Centropyge and fish overall, so I can't wait to see pictures of yours when it arrives!

Awesome! I was hoping to see at least one grace your tank.
Conspics are so gorgeous!!!
Amazing pick up.
As far as they go, isnt 3.75" pretty small? I dont think they are ever available that small or even close?

To the average person that size might be the smallest available, but Ted seems to have some very good connections for small angels, I am shocked that he never got a 1" conspic.

yeah, that is pretty small for them unless you get really lucky. I was hoping that tb conspics would be avail sooner rather than later. However, it seems like it will be at least 1-2 years before tb conspics hit the market...

That is without a doubt !!! Ted is the man to see when it comes to the hardest to find fishies.
When the CB conspics roll out then there, of course, will be very small juveniles.
But as for now, with Wild Caught specimens, there are certain fish that don't seem to come in at those petite sizes ?! I actually dont think ive ever seen a Conspic at 3 3/4" before.

I feel like this conversation happened once before in this thread. About small Conspicuous Angels.... But after a while, all the threads start to blend together. Its on here somewhere.

Hopefully not offending anyone, but other than the maze and blueline, and even those just the slightest bit..... the Chaetodontoplus angels aren't very special to me, they all seem to have the same basic look.

But it is great to see headway being made in the Captive Breeding on a larger level of more and more Genera and species.
