OT who should the lakers go after in free agency?
Since we have been working on a good pick in the draft this year, I wanted to see who you think Lakers should target in free agency.
Rondo? Love ? Aldridge? Mark gasol? Luke Walton? |

No on Rondo unless he's cheap because defense just sags off him. We have a good chance at Love especially if they tank in the playoffs this year.
No on Aldridge. Mark would be a good 2nd option. KD would be nice. Goran would be a good 2nd option.

Fact is we will take what we can get. We at least have fat cash, too bad other teams do also. I sure hope we retain one of the top four in the draft, keep loosing.
Rondo is nice, but yeah his jump shot lags, I'll take him however. Marc Gasol come back buddy. K. Love of course! 2017 is fat cash for the players with the new TV deal....I want the Tarantula Last edited by CoralNerd; 03/19/2015 at 07:29 PM. Reason: What Luke Walton |

I like Aldridge over k love and I like Durant and gasol together over any other pair since gasol isn't a stretch 5 or any other title basically stating that the guy doesn't like to bang in the post. Gasol and Durant , that's what we should get

Should start with new GM and good coach. Current GM and coach will continues damage the Lakers for long run. Since Jerry West left Laker went down. Since West joint warrior they contender.

I have always wanted K love on the lakers. He i a good solid player... Maybe rondo also? that would be a nice little combo, we will still need a consistent scorer as well.

Imo dragic, rondo and love aren't max players on a championship team, but someone will give them max dollars. It may very well be the lakers since LA is in a funk and want a star bad

Rajon Rondo and Goran Dragic would obviously be an upgrade but they are not max contract players. I think we have a shot at getting Rondo for a deal with his Kobe friendship. I like Kawhi Leonard and Jimmy Butler but I dont see them leaving the teams they are on. obviously bigs like Marc Gasol, LaMarcus Aldridge, and DeAndre Jordan would be a great upgrade as well, but again I dont see them leaving the teams they are on.
Honestly I dont think the Lakers will be great for another two years. In the meantime they should build a solid squad by targeting a player like Tobias Harris. Orlando will have a tough time matching what we could offer and is realistic. Get a few solid players like this so that when Kobe comes off the books next year and we have even more money to spend when the cap goes up with the new tv deal, a superstar will look at the team and be more likely to join. The next few years will see player like Durant, Westbrook and even Anthony Davis hit free agency. |

why would any superstar that wants to win a championship now want to come to the lakers and rebuild. Especially when those players are in their prime. Cause by the time the lakers are ready to win, those players will be exiting their prime.
If Love wants to win, he better stay in Cleveland as long as LeBron and Kyrie are there.

Haha I've missed you freddog. Hey I like how the flippers have lost like the last four or five in a row. I look forward the first round exit and then Jordan leaving in the off season and the team imploding. |
