New CBB with fuzzy white growths
My new CBB developed a fuzzy growth on his dorsal fin and thinking it was a fungus I used Pimafix and also Melafix in case of a bacteria. This is the fourth day of treatment with no improvement and actually one new growth started a couple days ago.
Any idea what it could be. I don't have a quarantine tank so any medication would have to be okay in the display tank. Thanks for your help

Lymphocystis
Is not curable, normally only attacks same fish family and disappears on its own. You might need to treat sccomdary infections with amti viotics https://www.*********.com/threads/ly.../#post-3043397 |

Thank you both. HubleFish, your link was very helpful.
Now I am concerned about my other fish catching it. i was hoping my cleaner shrinp would remove the growths before the virus has a chance to get into the water but no dice.
