Cheap dimmable led drivers to be controlled with Arduino

Hi there,

Is there any cheap dimmable led drivers that could be controlled easily with an arduino?

In other threads some people are arguing that ELN-60-48P are easier and others mention the D version as better. But there is still no winner.

Also are there any cheaper alternative to the mean well drivers?

Thanks

From what I have read the maxwellen drivers are dimmed with a pot so it is more complicated to say the least to dim them with a controller or an arduino

The maxwellen's are not yet dim-able via controller of any sort. There are some people workimg on a solution for that but it hasn't come to fruition as of yet.

Have you searched the Reef Angel forum? The RA is basically an arduino.

Or you could solder up your own CAT4101-based driver for about a quarter of the cost.

Since "cheap" was mentioned I feel obligated to suggest DIY'd drivers - they're almost always a fraction of the cost of an equivalent commercial driver. There's a big thread on here about DIY drivers if you're interested.
