Can I use Red Sea Reefer 170 for breeding?

I have a nice SPS reef tank Red Sea 350 and I am happy with it. Now I want to build another smaller fish breeding tank. It has been my dream to try to breed fish.

I am thinking about getting Red Sea 170 for this. I like the look of my 350 and having it in the same room, the 170 would compliment it nicely.

I am thinking about breeding clown fish, possibly cardinal, and maybe peppermint shrimp.

Any reason why Red Sea Reefer 170 would not be a good choice for breeding?
