The sad truth is every heater is junk. But I only run Jagers now on controlers.

I started with a jäger and decided to get an extra heater in case one stopped working. For the second heater I got an azoo titanium and my tank temperature started fluctuating 2 degrees from day to night. I noticed the heater was kicking on during the high temperature part of the fluctuation so I assumed I just didn't have enough heater wattage to keep up at night. I purchased another 300 watt azoo and I still had the 2 degree fluctuation. Now I am realizing that the Jagers are more precise +-.5 while the Azoo can fluctuate +-1 degree. Only Jagers for me now.

+1 Jäger

I have both Cobalt Neotherm and Jagers.

Get the Cobalt. The fluval E-series is also fantastic.
