Question about clam lighting
I have a derasa and a maxima in a 24x24x12 rimless tank. I have a 150 watt 14k phoenix bulb that sits about 22 inches above the clam (basically the light is ten inches above the tank). Does anyone see a problem with this lighting arrangement? Is this sufficient lighting for these clams?

plenty of light, probably dont want to keep anything that needs high light out on the outside edge but you will have plenty of light in the middle area.

derasas and maxis don't have the same needs, so if you can placde maxi a little higher he'll appreciate it.
