More Bean animal overflow help

This design is driving me mad, any small adjust to my flow just sends the thing all out of wack.

My filter sock is overflowing with water, if I dial it back to much it outed down the open channel and return. When I adjust it to reduce the amount of water going down those two drains my filter sock overflows again.

Any ideas thanks

Your filter sock is clogged.
They can get clogged in hours depending on the amount of particulate matter and the mesh size you went with..

Any overflow system cannot automatically account for changes in the flow rate..
But the flow rate shouldn't change..
Stop changing the flow rate..

Thanks that sorted it. I've been messing with the flow because if I have high flow it push more water into the weir box and it causes a slapping noise. In have the powerless facing each other which causes the random motion and then the returns face the glass.
