Kenya tree coral melting.

Hello.
Does anyone have an idea why my tree coral is melting?
Parameters are: salinity 1.026 nitrite 0 nitrate 0.9 Ph. 8.2

I am suspecting about his neighbor killing him. Any ideas? Thank you.

Need more info..
alk? cal? mag? levels..
tank age..
how long have you had the coral?
have you moved it?,
etc..
Also in the future please turn the blue channel of your lights off or way down.. proper color rendition is important and it can also help your camera take clearer pictures..
I really can't see enough in that picture to say if its melting or just slumped over..

If you haven't already, you might want to look inot Necrosis in soft corals.

i will send you all the kenya tree you can handle, mine is out of control. they usually sting others not visa versa. my tank runs very high nutrients and it seems to thrive that water. good luck.

What's your temperature at? When my temperature spiked from a broken heater my kenya tree withered away

Thanks so much for all the replies. Basically I'm pretty sure it was a war between this coral and a hollywood green stunner chalice.
Now it's recovering what's left of it and hopefully will grow back.

Are the polyps extended? What’s your alk? If your alk is too high that could be the problem
