if he doesnt go for that then just buy some good quality flakes that are made more for tangs. has more greens comes in a green container.

I use nori sheets 8x8" folded up on a clip that I got from marine depot. It has a plastic mesh screen that wraps around the nori so it doesn't float off. Maybe a lot for your tang though I have 2 yellows full grown and a hippo about your guys size. I also feed the tank a frozen mix I made. We used to make big batches at club meetings and everyone who brought an ingredient got to take a bag home(hint, hint) lol. You can get 100 nori sheets at an Asian grocery for about 12$ or at the pet store you can get 20sheets half the size in a fancy package for 9-13$. I have also seen people feed yellow tangs broccoli before but I don't know if hippos will take that. If you want to keep him growing and fat keep a constant food source like this, but if you want him smaller just go with daily flakes.

Its what ever they make sushi rolls with. My bag is listed as algues seche (laver) what ever that means. I havent got any in town because my bag lasts so long. My last batch was as follows:

Coral Frenzy
Kent Zoe (vitamins)
ZoPlan
PhytoPlan
2lb Brine Shrimp
Nori sheets
Various chopped sea food. I used a seafood medly (not to much fresh shrimp the turn the frozen food into a solid block if you blend them to much)

We have had people bring canned clam, and oyster frozen krill, mysid. Many other things can be added. We can look up recipies or make our own.

yup gotta have it. well on the nano you dont really cuz it has touch controls on the unit. but kinda pointless cuz if you have it on a timer it will restart on a full setting. kinda pointless if you ask me.

On the new ones they use a new wireless control which should be pretty cool.
