Additional flow in a 625g

I'm looking to add more flow to my 7ftx6ftx2ft 625g. Currently I have 2 MP60s, MP40, Tunze 6305 and a closed loop on a L1 with penductors (4). I'm thinking of adding either 2 250 gyres or a 6255. Obviously the gyres will provide more GPH, but Tunze is second to none in reliability and longevity. They cost about the same. Any suggestions that I'm missing? I will eventually upgrade the closed loop pump too.

I am finding better luck with 2 closed loops. I would upgrade that L1 asap.
Otherwise, I would go with Tunze, you can not go wrong there.

I'd go with the tunze just to reduce the additional maintenance load on you. Unless you have a service I could imagine that tank already takes up a lot of your time. The gyres sure are good at what they do but cleaning is much more in depth than a regular powerhead.

I have a large tank and tried out an AquaMedic EcoDrift 20. They move some serious water. I have only had them for about three years, so no idea if they are reliable, but they also are not as much as my Tunze are... these are on the level of 6205, but not 6305.

Have you ever tried a Mag, Laguna or Fluval as a powerhead? Kinda ugly, but they move massive amounts of water. I am going to use Mag 12 on a Sea Swirl on a 14x4x3 that I am building soon.
