Question on Fragging

What is the best way to frag a frogspawn? I wasn't sure how you guys (and gals) fractured the bases. I didn't wan't to employ brutal measures if it wasn't necessary (hammer/chisel).

Thanks,
Jason

They can be brittle so just be careful with brute force!

Many people use a dremel, others some sort of saw.

Like phishcrazee, I use a pair of heavy duty wire cutters (Klein/Bluepoint) and give it a careful snip.

As long as you aren't close to the "fleshy" part of the specimen, it isn't alive.

i've found the bigger bone cutters to do the best work. or, like me, just let live rock fall on it. its more natural haha. good luck!

Another option... go to your basement, grab a chair, grab the frogspawn, climb the chair, extend arm, DROP :O

Those type of corals are very forgiving so the advice you got in above posts are right on. Can't really mess up fragging them, just don't cut the flesh and your right on!!!
