Air Pump Gravel Vac
So I gave it a try
Even with a very large air pump and seeing it push ton of bubbles and water up through the top, it does not collect a whole lot of detritus,etc... I do use polyfil to collect the debris when it overflows at the top Am I doing something wrong? tube too long? pump has plenty of power though after flatworm exit, I have ton of these long brown strands sticking up out of the stand, could be execretions from the corals, not sure, just trying to vacuum it up |

Can you not suck up the gunk using just a tube and a syphon?
