Banggai Project In The Works...
My LFS was able to locate a pair of Banggai Cardinalfish for me, here is a little video of their first day home...
I plan on (fingers crossed) breeding these little ones when they are ready - right now they are still young- but eating very well.... the mandarin was sharing in the worms this morning - too cool

What happened to me was a pair from a breeder turned out to be males and they tolerate each other on the opposite sides of the tank. I've tried 2 or 3 others from LFS introducing to my 2 and all males. 2 were killed as I wasn't watching like I should have. Bought another pair recently and they are about 2 yrs old and it seems they may be both females with the one vent underneath. I havent had time to catch the others I have to see if they pair up. I have a couple of systems going so they are separated. Good luck and keep them fed well!

Hi- nice to meet you Got any pics of your set up to share?
I am still hopeful they are male/female- so far no aggression- but as you just mentioned, I have been noticing them hanging out on opposite sides...but then they always seem to meet up with each other and rub/hover next to each other..so not 100% sure yet..

UPDATE: so my pair is doing well, eating, healthy- but not so much "togetherness" going on lately. They have been swimming more and more apart, on opposite sides of the tank, but go back to each other eventually. No chasing, no aggression, fine during feeding- odd...
