LED's
Ok so i have a 125 All glass reef tank, I have 3 250watt mh fixtures with 14k's which are 11x9x5 im pretty sure. So im looking for some extra lighting. I have about 2 inches on either side of the bulbs. Im thinking of going 2 strips on either side of each bulb. I know current makes strips but there kinda expensive. They would definitely have to hold up to the heat does anyone have any suggestions or better ideas? It was just a thought so looking for some input.

Look at doing a couple diy strips using cree led's you could use aluminum u channel for heatsinks.

im not much good at lighting idk if i could trust and Led kit i made lol. anything premade. or anyone have a video or site that gives good instructions on how to construct leds from scratch and wat to buy?
