Hectors 10g nuvo
So I’ve been on the the reef tank then moved to clay-boa for several years and figured I might as well share my nano here. Also please don’t post in this thread.
Tank has been set up for 4,1/2 months as a fun stay in the hobby while in school tank and is not my only setup system but for now is the only one I’d like to share. For this tank I use a synthetic salt from tunze I believe and do water changes once a week but might switch to twice weekly. I like using prodibio products and currently I’m finishing up a biodigest pack and may move onto the reef kit I’m not sure. On a tank this small doing frequent water changes probably makes all these additives pointless. Equipment: -ghost protein skimmer desktop -AI hydra 26hd -aqamai powerhead -colbalt aquatics neotherm 50w -return pump sicce syncra 1 -nano tunze osmolator -Santa Monica drop .2 algae scrubber For filtration I use the old white & blue filter floss followed by marine pure spheres and a smaller then rated amount of carbon with a pinch of gfo in a bag I made. I plan on hooking up a sump canister onto my protein skimmer and air pump to scrub co2 since it’s winter and even in a nano pH has been low. Inhabitants: Inverts/verts -Bugatti the clownfish from poto -rainford goby -cleaner shrimp -5 trochus snails Coral -2 polyp frogspawn -2 polyp pink hammer -3 polyp duncan -3 polyp ARC blackcherry blasto -1 polyp blasto -2 polyp rainbow acan -2 polyp Red/blue acan -3 polyp green acan -5 polyp very fat dendro -3 polyp dendro -orange leptastrea frag -wwc purple monster zoa -vivid rainbow zoa -grandis paly -mohawk zoa -Chiquita zoa -PPE zoa -no name zoas believed/sold as Queen kraks Will update with zoa count possibly and a haul coming from cherry corals very soon. Also will take pictures later today and share past pictures. As I come up with things to add I will. |
