Who makes a decent, quite return pump (@ 1300 gph) @ the $100 range.

Whats the head pressure that you’re working against, or are you looking for 1300 gph at 0 head pressure? Either way, at around a $100 price point, I’d look into the Jebao DCP line of pumps.

Possibly mag-drive pump. They come in plenty of different sizes. But as noted above, you'll need to figure head pressure.

Mag are good and reliable, but definitely not as quiet as some others. Fluval SP2 is a bit lower flow than you want, but a good pump - reliable, quiet and durable.
