I love my apex, and go ecotech XR15, with the WXM module to control the light...

It's more than enough for SPS, o have one on my Biocube 32 and one on my 25 lagoon... hardest part of sps corals is stability. Lights are important yes, but unstable water parameters, will kill sps in hrs...

Will second Jvan that water is much more important than light.

I have a 25 lagoon with XR15 Gen 4 Pro
My tank is stocked with sps, lps, softies, anemone etc. Great tank. I have a 2 pump doser and auto top off etc. Keeping the tank stable is my main goal with it being so small. I came from a large 180 at one time and this lets me have fun without the huge headaches of a big tank again.
