new 260 Gallon room divider build

so I am moving my office and have to move the reef. I thought I would share a few initial thoughts on the design, etc. I am procuring the 30x30x66 divider tank from Reef Savvy and the sump from glasscages. The stand is made from 3/16" wall 2x2 HSS tube steel. welded myself.

Will look good, keen to see the progress. Would be great to have a tank in the office, super jealous.

Not sure if it makes any difference to the setup of the sump but when I was talking with my tank builder he recommended rather than the overflows falling directly into the filter socks to run a flood box that then overflows over the socks.

this is what I had built up

I'm not too sure about if it makes a difference with noise. I'm still filling up my tank at the moment.

I think the biggest advantage of the flood box is that you would be able to remove your filter socks without having to turn off the return pump and pull apart your drain plumbing to get the socks out.
