Help Identify Two Items

Can anyone identify the type of algae and what the white spongy looking thing is with the worm-like object coming out?

If either are bad a remedy to remove?

Nitrates are between 0.5-0.75ppm
Phosphates are 0.09ppm

regular green hair algae (GHA) and a normal harmless sponge..

GHA isn't considered "good" and yes you will likely want to do something to keep it from spreading..
The sponge is fine/harmless
