Tunze Skimmers
I see that Tunze has 2 skimmers:
Tunze Master DOC Protein Skimmer 9410 and Tunze Comline DOC DC Protein Skimmer 9012 But I have seen ZERO about them on RC or elsewhere? I'm shopping for a new skimmer for my 75 SPS tank and one of my primary criteria is reliability of the pump. Clearly, Tunze pumps fit this bill. So why the silence re Tunze skimmers? Would either of them be suitable for my 75? Why or why not? Thanks, Mike |

Crickets?
If anyone has tried one of these Tunze skimmers, I'd sure like to know. Mike |

There are actually 4 models,
9012.000, 9012.001 (DC version) and 9410.000 and 9410.001 (DC version). The 9012 is for in tank use only, the 9410 is for in sump use only, if you have a sump, 9410 is the way to go. The DC version of the 9012 just came out a few weeks ago so very little will be out in the way of info but the AC version has been around for almost 18 months now. The 9410 has been around since 2008, the DC version won't be available until March.
