Pufferfish ID
Need help id-ing this new puffer i bought. Closes resemblance is to a species of Fugu but i don't know for sure. Help me out?? (Images attached)

Probably Takifugu poecilonotus, possibly Takifugu niphobles. The specific banding on id pics seems to vary wildly so it makes it hard to say for sure.

Sorry I cant help with ID, seems like Haley nailed it. I did have one similar to yours, but it had orange markings. I forgot what it was called. Anyhow, seems they like sand. Not sure if you have him in qt now, but sand in the future.
