Yeah, used the fw stop in the past with good results. This time i decided to try the two as the are suppose to work together.
My n is usually above 5 and my p at 0.02 at least, 2 weeks ago both were at 0 (hanna for p salifert for n), i stopped the dosing of cb and tested yesterday, the n are at 2 (red sea), 2.5 (salifert) and the p are at 0.04 (hanna), 0.08 (red sea). I restarted my rowa reactor to keep it near 0.02.

Not sure if anyone but the manufacturer knows whats in there..
Its certainly possible it could contain something that would feed bacteria like a carbon source thus give you equivalent results to carbon dosing..

Or its possible that its causing the corals to grow "better" thus increasing their intake of nitrates/phosphates..

As it doesn't seem to state anything about its effects as a nitrate/phosphate reducer on the bottles its unlikely that what you are seeing is an intentional effect of using the product..
If so a manufacturer would be stupid to not included that in the "marketing blurbs" about it..

I dont see what else could have done that, i asked on the zeo forum but haven’t got answers.
I will wait for thing to stabilize and maybe dose 1/4 of the recommended dose (1 ml/2 days instead of 4) and see the results on n and p.

Without having any idea of what's in the product, I can't say much, unfortunately. It might have some organic carbon, as one random thought.
