Red Sea Max s650 Cabinet Structure

Hi

Does anyone know if the metal frame for the Red Sea S-650 can be modded at all?

I was about to pull the trigger on a great deal I got on a LifeReef Sump, it’s perfect for my system design and outlay how I want things. Except it’s like
39 5/8” long and the frame to frame space in the cabinet is 38 6/8”

I was wondering if anyone has any ideas other than just get a different sump

This is just a pic I could find online of the particular post which is in the way and separates chiller area from the sump area. The tank is already set up and running at this point well established
