Christian’s True Blue Reef

Last weekend I decided it was time to up grade to a nicer, newer, BIGGER aquarium. I looked online and found a 165 gallon in great condition, also came with a stand.

Going from a 70 gallon sea clear II tank and a 15 gallon y’all. To something double in size, I was like oh the possibility’s.

Well here is the aquarium

It’s 66”x 24” x24”
I can view both sides of the aquarium one in my office nook and the other my living room, now I can see if any fish are hiding, lol

I have started a Youtube channel just for my reef, I’ll be posting up dates of any new additions to the aquarium as well as once a month or more full tank videos to watch the reef grow.

That anemone is a S. helianthus, the Atlantic Sun Anemone, I think. Get a good picture of the column for positive ID.

I agree. The way the tentacles are evenly spread across the oral disc is indicative of S. helianthus.

Yes I think it is as well. I like the colors of it but it’s still not the kind that I have been looking for.

Apparently, the problem with S. helianthus is that they may eat your clownfish. It originates from the Caribbean, where there are no clownfish.

Speaking of clownfish, how many do you have? Looks like 3? I think two will pair up and eventually bully or even kill the third fish.

Thank you, I’ll just have to keep my eye out for the other kind I think I’ll have to make a custom order to get the ones I want. Where do you get your anemones from?

That’s cool, I remember you getting one or two from me. When I worked their. I’m holding this one will stay where it is and I can add more corals or anemones around it. It tends to move it disk a lot. I really like the color of this anemone it’s like a green/ blue color.

I also moved my apex system out of the way
