10 Gallon Nano-Nano

3 years and running. This pic is one day after scraping all the coralline off the glass. My sps frags are young due to a crash a few months ago.

Holy cloves, Batman! Any issues between those and your SPS? I always liked them but was afraid to add any.

Nice tank! Got a close up of the cloves so I can see what kind they are? I love me some cloves! Love that light too!

No issues with the cloves. I basically glued the sps frags right over them and now they're encrusting on the the rock slowly pushing the cloves away. I'll post a pic in a bit.

thanks for the compliment. Now that I have my water params in a range where the corals like I'm starting to see some growth. The digitata on the left and the right seem to be quick growers.

I'll post up a closer shot of them. They're sold in my lfs as japanese blue cloves. The light is the common chinese blue/white l.e.d. setup that is dimmable. It was custom made with two types of blue with 440nm and 460nm i believe.

So why hasn't this been nominated for NTOTM yet?

Even though its been running for three years I honestly dont think its deserving yet. Id like to have the sps grown out to small colonies first.

Im dosing B-Ionic 2part and occasionally amino acids. I also use a small amount of phosar-hc(gfo) held in a small sack held inside the protein skimmer. I do about1-2 gallon water change every 2-3 days. 2 gallons if I clean the glass and baste the rocks of detritus.

Its all in the camera settings really. No post processing or photoshopping(photochopping). The lights are much brighter in reality but the colors are accurate
