Any diving over the weekend?

Richard, did you get to do any diving over the weekend?

How does everything look after Ike?

Yes Sir!

YUP!

Got the load yesterday....was 2-3 foot seas....vis about 2 foot, ran into a big jewfish.....that was fun....

2 foot viz! WOO HOO! There are weekends I would kill for that! Of course, Lake Michigan and abandoned quarries are a little bit different then the Keys. I have lost count of the number of time I've been kicked in the face and had my mask knocked off because someone could not or did not see me. That always makes me cranky.

Na...

was about 80 pounds...lying on the bottom on his side...could not see him until there was a big cloud of dust making it 0 vis....then he was there!

I know your pain....my first dive was Point Arena, Ca.

was 0 vis at 60 feet, and had to do a free ascent....and REAL cold...

and then the river run..Sacramento/American rivers..where everybody knocks your equipment off...I learned to be a solo diver after that!
