Very impressive! I am a big fan of large colonies. So many people now a days don't let their acros grow out because they frag them so much. Keep it up!

Seriously PO4<1ppm ? Isn't that a mistake and shouldn't be PO4<0.01ppm ?
Awesome tank!

Yes- sorry for the confusion, that was a typo.
It should read <. 0.10ppm

Thanks- It is really cool to see things grow. You don't really realize it until you look back at old pics.

Things are starting to really take off now, and I'm needing to reposition colonies all the time- lol
Guess its a good problem to have!

Time for a few updates...

First I wanted to post a pic of my sargassum trigger.
Had this little guy as a juvenile since June, he's easily doubled in size and has started to get some red colouring in the tip of his tail.I think he likes it around here

Here is a recent picture December 2017

and when I first got him...

Yes, using the same bulb combination as you

Blue Plus x4
Coral Plus x4

I am finding that I still can't bring the blues into certain corals like a cali tort for example. I was hoping that the extra Coral Plus bulbs might have helped with this. I am very happy otherwise- I need to replace them again soon, so will likely go the same as what I have been using.
I am also finding that most of my millies have lost their polyp extension. Not sure what is going on, I do have a Gold Flake Angel that may be pestering them, but I never see him nipping at any coral.

Happy New Year Ed!

Beautiful fts.
The tank is looking so mature. Love the balance of large colonies!

Very nice presentation! A very nice mix of branching, bunching, and tabling corals; each individual still visible while part of the reef.
Good show.
