Egg bound Mandarin?
I have a female Mandarin Dragonet and she has been growing increasingly large in the abdomen. I have read that she might be egg bound. Does anyone know if there is something that I can do. I read somewhere that adding magnesium, in the form of epsom salt, can help. Any input would be appreciated.

I assume there is a male in the tank as well? Regular light cycle? Any spawning activity or rising towards the evening? It's not unusual for the abdomen to be huge when eggs are hydrated but if multiple spawning attempts result in no egg release, the try the Epsom salts.
