600 gallon NEW BUILD

I have started documenting my new build over the last year (house and tank) and figured I might as well start posting some pics to assist other new builds, ask for assistance from others and share some sad stories.(hopefully with a happy ending!)Before I sat down with my architect, I started planning (dreaming about) my back room...haven't we all??

Gotta love the cinder block construction!

One house in our neighborhood was built that way... just don't see that in Texas.

Build should be amazing, tagging along

Although Reef Savvy's overflows were properly sized, I decided to get larger ones made up for easier plumbing installation and I wanted clear backs and sides for viewing from my equipment room.I painted the DT side of these black.

Looks good Ricardo. Love what's going on. Love my Reef Saavy also. Love the overflows. Love how you built the house around the tank. That's pimp.

Skimmer has arrived. After much investigation, I landed on Life Reef.
Something about the height/dwell time just makes sense!
...although Sully doesn't look too impressed!
