This forum is about fish, however there is no incompatibility among your list. Coleman shrimp live on fire urchins.

Also, those little periclemenes shrimp (the pedersen and probably the anemone shrimp, depending on the species) will jump, so I suggest a covering on your tank.

Sorry first time asking about inverts on here, mods possible move?
Do Coleman shrimps need fire urchins to survive as its going to be a mixture of shrimp and peaceful nano fish.

Jumping shrimps lol never thought they could jump out of tanks. Thanks for the advice. Its going to be open top so will 1x1 cm square netting be good enough? I don't want to cover up too much light.

My knowledge of coleman shrimp is from diving. I have only seen them (and photographed them) in a commensal relationship with fire urchins. I doubt that they can subsist on their own and haved never seen them in aquaria

In my 12g nano I have

Pedersons
Anemone
Sexy

They all are doing fine (I also have a harlequin and bumblebee shrimp in there). I have never even heard of the coleman shrimp.

Thanks, I think I'll give them a miss then because there aren't going to be any live urchins in my tank, possibly one artifical urchin (for the clingfish) lol.

I'm not sure. I use 1/4" bird netting on all my tanks, and I don't think I lose too much light. That's a little smaller than a centimeter I think (not really up on my metric system). They don't so much jump as come to the surface and then "pop" out of the water. You can hear it if you're close.

1cm is about 3/8's of an inch...i agree with the 1/4" bird netting being the material to use though..
