Clownfish Have Changed Color
I have 2 Clownfish Amphiprion ocellaris. One is about 2 1/2 inches long the other about 1 1/2 inches long. I feed them frozen fresh and cooked shrimp, frozen clam meat, frozen salmon, frozen deer heart(out of that right now),NutriDiet Marine flakes and OMEGA ONE Shrimp Pellets and Algae flakes. When I received them they were orange now they are brown. The white color is as bright as ever. Any suggestions. They eat well and act fine.

Frozen deer heart? I think that's the first time I've heard that one.

Some varieties of Clownfish do change color as they mature.
Your larger one will be a female and the smaller male. All Clownfish start out as male and the larger one will turn to female. If the female dies, the next larger will turn female. |
