Wow, very cool. Is this a ULNS tank? I also dose lots of "magic potions" and heard good things about the ME amino acids. Might have to try that one after seeing your tank...

Great looking tank man. What the heck do the sea swirls do though? I'm apparently oblivious to this entire type of item

Thank you sir Quote:
Yea it is low nutrient. I've been trying to get them a bit higher, but this tank just absorbs everything I throw at it. You will love ME aminos. Quote:

Snapped a couple iPhone pics and a vid today. No editing, and it seems like YouTube degrades the video quality. :/

Schnitzel's Sticks
Took some lazy iPhone pics. I am using a gel filter so the pics arent washed out blue.
Things have been going very well for the tank. Steady growth and good colors. Fish are healthy. Can't really complain. Just did a couple 50g water changes over the past couple weeks. Had some cyano start popping up on the sand bed. That's because I hadn't done a water change in 3-4 months. Cyano is already starting to go away. |

Beautiful, what a tank! Great corals and fish. Do you have any daily dosing routines?

Nick this tank is just beautiful. With a bit more growth this is a TOTM contender. Would love to see some top down sps coral shots.

First time reading your thread. Much love, much love! (For the Harley too. Life is good in Southern California)
I have a couple of questions. What are the dimensions of your tank and who made it? I see you have/had another tank on the adjacent wall in one of your pictures. Did you transfer your stock over? What size was that tank? How did the transfer go if that's what you did? Did you lose anything? I especially like the milli. Is that a sunset milli? Some of the pieces look peach colored (which I like as it is an elusive color) in the whole tank shots. The contrast of colors and placement are just spectacular. |
