DIY shroud around Kessil A360's?

When I'm on the couch I can see directly into the light housing, as I am sitting lower than the tank, my child plays near there as well. I'm worried she may be looking at the light from time to time. And I'm not sure 100% if these are safe on the eyes.

I'm not looking to make a canopy as I like the open look. Has anyone ever made up a shroud to cover the physical light by maybe an inch or so to prevent accidentally looking into the bulbs indirectly? Or have any other ideas?

Thanks

I have always thought "barn doors" as seen on studio lighting would work well on Kessils. A simple metal ring painted to match the light would work too. Now you have me thinking as I have the same problem minus the kid, mine are adults

Could be as simple as some black construction paper wrapped around and electrical tape to hold it in place..

I use a bunch of black "Formex" which is a thin plastic sheet for stuff like that.. I get samples of it all the time at work so its readily available to me..

Long term exposure to any light source can be problematic but you aren't going to go blind from casual exposure to them in the way someone would be exposed to them from a far..

I put a taller top rim on my tank while my kids were small to prevent them form being able to look right into the light. Removed it once they got older.
