What is this on my Zoa frag?

Anyone know what is this on my first Zoa frag? Thought it was the start of a new polyp, but the more I look at it, the more it seems to be a egg sac of some sort. Hopefully just being paranoid...

Looks like that is a sponge from what I am hearing. Is it bad/should I remove it? And if so how?

Kind of hard to tell, but looks like sponge to me also. Sponges typically have a large "vent" hole somewhere, look for that to be certain. It's fine and means you have decent water quality. Harmless filter feeder.
