First Clam

Ok so this is my first clam...and I had to show him off. I drip acclimated him over about 45min. I was told they do not really need food (however I do target feed oyster feast to my zoa's and what not) I am figuring that will be more than enough. I am running 4 T5HO lights 2 x 10K white, 1 antic and 1 purple. Is there anything else I should know about these guys? Any recommendations?

Thats the plan he was under metal halides. I figured he would do best their...should he not be up that high he is about mid way up the tank.

Honestly not sure, I forgot to ask will ask when I go back in there. I know I have been eye balling it for months, and it has been under their metal halides that whole time.

Is this correct flow for my clam? (will try to get a video later today). But the mantel is gently waving from time to time not folding on itself or anything. Just gently waving up and down.

as long as it'snot constant or severe flow, fine
