Baffles Size????
I am having to make a larger sump and need to know which height and width I need to make each baffle. I am only going to use 3 baffles right before the return section on the sump.
The Tank is a 30gallon breeder (36"x12"x18") ASAP responses needed as I will be heading to the HD or Lowes in just over an hour to get the glass pieces cut.

You'll want to measure in person, but leave about 1" below and between forming a 1" chamber U section at what ever height you want to maintain before the return section.

Ok since the inside of the tank measure right under 12" from front to back would I go with a width of 11.5" or 11"?

I would go with 11.75" and use silicone to seal it up. That way you can put in is at an angle and then straighten it out. I would rather cut less than too much. You can always put it in at an angle.

Thanks. Now I cant seem to get the sump under the tank as it is to long to put it in from the front and I cant move the tank to put in through the back since it weighs over 1.5 tons now.
