That's a very good idea. What do you think you will be able to run on the tank with the generator?

I'm presuming it's an auto-start version? Are you planning on having a large fuel tank as keeping them going is often an issue.

I can run all the pumps but not lights or chillers . Yes it is an auto start generator . We have a petrol station selling diesel close by , no more than 2 mins so no need for large fuel tank .

Is there a hand pump? If your power is out, what is the chance their power is out as well? No power, no pumps...

Wow I cant wait to see corals fill this tank. Some of the non reef friendly fish have me a little worried and interested at the same time. Maybe display is large enough they wont care about the corals and inverts. I would just be worried that puffer would eat the clam one day.
