EB8 Wattage error

I have read both the user guides, and numerous threads here but am still stumped.

I calibrated my eb8 via telnet with NOTHING hooked up, it was fluctuating between 1.4 to 1.7 amp draw with nothing plugged in before the calibration, after the calibration it fluctuates between 0.0 & 0.3 amp draw still with nothing plugged in?

Any help appreciated, so many threads to read and my frustration with it is making my head hurt on a weekend

Ps. EB8 is brand new, ordered from PA, it arrived Thursday

You may need to contact Neptune for that one, sounds like a faulty unit. support@neptunesys.com

I used to get weird amp fluctuations when wires and other electrical cords were touching any Apex wires and probes. I know you have nothing connected, but try moving some wires around. Hopefully it's not a faulty unit.
