Looking great. This is going to be amazing once everything starts to grow more.

Thanks all! I recently moved into a 1 bedroom apartment, so this is now no longer in my bedroom. The move itself was interesting, I had to haul the stand complete with half-full sump down the street on a dolly (only moved a block, but moving is moving), and then hurredly run the empty tank over before the corals dried out. Fortunately everything survived and all the equipment worked once I got it set back up. My ORA purple nana did RTN a bit, but has since stopped and I'm hopeful the tissue will grow back soon.

Will post pics soon.

Wow! That had to be some tense minutes!

How long do you think the longest a coral was out of water? I say "longest", clearly the first to lose water as the tank is drained is the last to be covered as it fills.

Glad things are working out though.

It's been a while since the move....not much going on with the tank. Had a small mini-cycle for the past month or so, with some slight algae and only the slimer and montis posting growth. Here it is in the new place:

Closeup of the whole setup:

And detail of the sump, no new equipment to report:

Hopefully the acros will start registering more gains in the growth arena...will post an FTS as that happens.

A quick FTS and a couple of random shots. I made the rookie mistake of turning my Sols back up to 100% after I had them down to 60% as the fan broke....oops. Lost a good bit of color on most corals so I knocked all three channels down to 50%.

Hey Steve! It must have been 15-20 minutes. I thought it would end in disaster but all pieces survived intact. I was sweating a good bit though. I just evaluated all my options and figured I'd pull off the bandaid as quick as possible. I think it was a significant stress though, and it's taking my tank some time to recover.

Thanks man....my main goal is to make this tank as automated as possible - meaning less work for me!

Granted I am a newb. And even more so on LEDs. But it's clear that LEDs are a lighting source where you can EASILY overload your livestock.

So my fingers are crossed in hopes that this is an easily recoverable event for you.

Thanks! Not much new to note. I've been gradually ramping up my LEDs back, so I'll be able to post some decent growth soon.

Those AI LEDs must be intensely powerful since you have them dialed back. It's nice to have reserve light, that's for sure.

And great selection on all that top of the line equipment!

Thanks all! I'll post some pics this weekend. Not around during the day so it's too blue at night.

Cheers

Tom

I'm jealous. Good job, its hard to maintain so many SPS in a small tank, but you are taking the extra effort to do so.
I mean, that organization is holy!

Thanks for the notes!

Look at what arrived, just in time!!!

At least I got the second MP10 up on the wireless module. Just need to set one up in slave mode:

I was gone from Wednesday AM until today....unfortunately we can add my large Maxima to the death toll from the storm. It didn't smell bad so it must have died recently, but belatedly from the power outage. Fueled a bit of an algae outbreak though. I'm up on a 7-day Prodibio dosing schedule to increase bacterial growth and reduce PO4. Unfortunately since I moved this tank in March it's been one blow after another. My plan is to just let things sit, do water changes, dose Prodibio, and try to keep it as stable as possible....

Tom sorry to hear about the loss from the outage. I added the back up as well---had it on order while the blackout occurred kinda ironic. I was lucky no losses. Your tank is looking good after the move.
