I recently bought this light fixture setup from Rehype.
the bulb combo consist of: (2)ATI Blue plus (1)ATI actinic (1)ATI purple plus (1)Giesemann 6500K (1)ATI coral plus and not necessarily in that order. and then the two Reefbrite blue LEDs mounted to each side. His tank really inspired me! I plan on building my own shallow reef tank in the near future. currently, I am using this light over my redseamax 130d and the bulb combo that rehype included is amazing. |

sad to hear that this tank has been tanken down just saw the build thread really amazing. Did he build the bracket for the reef light leds to come off the fixture himself?

Rehype, I was reading this thread from the beginning for the last 30 minutes (just started getting serious about building an 8g nano in the last month) and my heart dropped when I read that you lost this tank...
You did a really amazing job, your pictures and descriptions really told a beautiful story and I'm truly inspired by your tank. Your willingness to answer just about every question people asked, some of them 5-6 times without getting snarky , and the way you responded thanking people for every single compliment is unique and as a newbie who has been abused on other forums in the past I'd like to thank you for this thread. Solid gold. Hopefully you get another tank going and you can inspire even more people! |

I have never posted on reef central but I have to say that I just ordered a 18X18X9 and stumbled across this build. What an amazing tank, truly an inspiration. I will be bookmarking this and using it as a reference for my own!

What a great build.
Can you describe your experience of going from MH/t5 to T5? What prompted that and what changes did you see in your corals? Thanks.

Such a shame this is gone. It's half the reason I joined the forum. Such a beautiful tank, will serve as inspiration for plenty of new reefers that's for sure!

I think I should probably ask a mod to close this thread since this tank is long gone. |
