Ghost overflow - seal question

I am looking into using a ghost overflow for my new tank. I was planning to have the tank manufacturer put black enamel on the back of the tank. Will this cause an issue with getting a good seal on the gasket of the bulkhead for the external box?

Nope. I sprayed mine with two cans of plasti-dip and it sealed just fine.

I'll second that. I didn't use plasti-dip but did paint the outside of the back glass black and had no trouble getting a similarly designed overflow to seal up just fine.
