Nice looking Saddlebacks. I have been admiring them at Petco recently.

My personal choice is to keep all my clownfish with anemones.

When I see my 10 year old pair of regular spawning Tomato clownfish sleeping in the anemone at night, there is something that tells me that they are happier than without an anemone. I also believe that a happier clownfish pair will result in healthier and higher quality offspring.

Likely similar to Balloon Ram Cichlids, bred like stubby clowns. They lose some vertebrae and suffer from health issues. I'd stay away.

Fire clowns...they seem to be doing fine together in a group of 5.
Is this normal for this species?

Could anyone tell me if the "gladiator" type of clown name is a percula or an ocellarius or is it either just with the "helmet" look on their head

Haddoni and Gigantea do not sting each other. They may shade each other if they are too close together.
That picture show two of my Haddoni

It depends. There's an older Proaquatix (I think) lineage that's called gladiators that are occies. But other types of occies and percs can have the helmet look.
