Cupramine then Prazipro

I am about to finish the cupramine period in my QT for new livestock. What do you guys do before adding prazipro?

1. Add cuprisorb to take out copper then add Prazipro

-or-

2. Add Prazipro into Cupramine

I am thinking #1 along with water change but looking for advice. Thanks!

I would treat with one medication at a time. Some carbon or CupriSorb should be fine to remove the copper.

Any water used should first be conditioned with ULTIMATE® or a combination of Liquid Buffered ClorAm-X® and Stress-X™ to remove ammonia, chlorine and chloramines.

Do not mix them. If you use the above first as suggested and add any Cupramine you will convert the copper, Cu++ into Cu+ which is 10 x more toxic.

You can run parallel treatments with both cupramine and prazi-pro, but it's best just to use a drop or two of prazi as a food soak, it'll do it's job much better that way. Treating the water will only go so far as praziquantel is best ingested.
