Sca skimmer

Hi all,
I recently bought Another sca 301 for my 75 gallon reef tank. The problem is that the pump doesn’t fit snug like it’s suppose to. It falls off once i pick it.
I have owned other skimmers before and have never encounter this problem before.
So, what do I do? Any advise to get the pump snug with the skimmer housing? Who else have had this problem with any other skimmer.
Thank you,

This skimmer does this. There are several mods to make it better. Overall for the cost it's pretty good.

Try some Teflon tape or an O ring

That’s how this skimmer is designed and it doesn’t really hurt its performance. It actually makes routine maintenance of the pump quite easy.
