lugol's iodine

I see alot of different iodines, some say lugols solution(kent) and i belive i have found pure lugols as well.

What do i use for a dip?

I ordered some zoos online and i dont have a qt tank, i dont want anything hitchin in on me and infecting my other colonys. I have several montipora as well and i am terrified of nudis, i realize they are different types but you never know what can hitch a ride.

I would rather not buy the kent product if i can go to walgreens and get any old iodine. If that is not the case i was wondering if this is the stuff im after:
http://www.altcancer.com/lugols.htm

Any input is appreciated.

Go to the zoanthids section and there is a sticky with
excellent step by step on dipping zoanthids.

I have no idea what the proportions of iodine to water are
in the various solutions. I would be wary. It never seems
to fail when I read about people using what they think are
comparible products or improvising it ends badly.

You can dip in fresh water only if you don't have lugols.

Ok i read it somewhere about page 5 Mucho states that they use the kents solution, some other reefers in the same thread have used just about anything they can find that says iodine and use it with the same results.

Im still lost, cant figure out what to buy. I dont want the kent stuff if its just diluted iodine with a high price tag....
